taufik's our first sg idol! i'm quite happy he won even though i like sly more... ming min (my cousin's gf) confirmed my tix in the morning, but hanee also had tix... so in the end my bro took hanee's tix, even tho ming min's were better... cos raymond (my bro's fren) din wanna sit separately (ming min's were separate, hanee's weren't)...

i saw the taufik brides while waiting for hanee but dinnoe who they were until my bro told me he wanted to see them... hanee spotted one of the more memorable sg idol contestants, though i can't remember her name, only her face... she's the one that the judges say very auntie that one ah, but she's really changed alot since then! her hair's super funky w/ green streaks, though i dunno y green streaks are so popular nowadays... they look like mould growing on the hair to me... hahahaha, muz be too affected by beak's classmate le... :P

i was delighted to find that ming min's seats were ABSOLUTELY great! although there was temporary hiccup where i sat in the wrong section (so happy summore, got a sly badge in the goodie bag AND closer to the stage! T_T) but sorted that out soon enough by changing places to the correct section... i think the girls whose seats i'd sat in thought i purposely sat there to be closer to the stage... HAH! dun need ur seats leh! mine r good too!! BLEAAAAHHH... *waggles tongue at them* ok, being very childish...

i couldn't sit w/ han ee, so sad, but she was nice enough to let me sit in the fronter (is that a word?) seat... and guess wat i found in my goodie bag?

1) a sly/taufik flag... see which fan are u? in my case, i'm both... lol)

2) an achar paper box w/ a chinese and indian teabag inside... excuse me, wat does it have to do w/ sg idol? mediacorp... always using free publicity...

3) a TAUFIK badge!! T________T i wanted a sly one! but nvm, if ur reading this chuckie, u'll get a present frm me when sch starts! :P

4) a FREE lightstick! awww... mediacorp's so kind! LUCKY i din buy one b4 i went in... haahaha...

the rest of the stuff in the goodie bag are not worth mentioning... lol... juz some postcards...

anyway, i wasn't too lonely sitting by myself, cos there was this mother and daughter sitting on my right who were really cute, quite high... i was on the right side of the stage, on sly's side... unfortunately, the ppl sitting in my section were all taufik fans, so i felt abit like that mastercard ad where that yellow dot was cheering by itself in a sea of red at that soccer game... i saw sly's parents and his younger sis, quite cute lah, she... i also saw benjamin eio taking pics w/ some girls between taufik's and sly's side... hahaha, i kinda rmb him cos he was quite cute, juz too boyband-ish... :P and that cute guy who acted as max in "living w/ lydia" sat in front of me! rui en too, but i din realise until dan went to interview her... lol... the 9 finalists sat in the front row in sly's side, i had quite a good view of them... but i din dare to go down during intervals, scared too throw face lah, and summore i only had a hp camera, so dark how to take pics? T_T

i loved the whole show! sly's "i dream" and "it's my life" were damn good man! but his "an jing" again still CMI lah... it was kinda obvious that taufik had the better vocal quality AND the fanbase... more ppl were screaming for taufik than for sly, but nvm! i still love sly all the same... hahahaahah... the 11 finalists did "my prerogative" b4 the results show but they din show it on tv... MUAHAHAHA...

the mom beside was very cute, during "that's wat frens r for", she really did wat gurmit said and held my hand and waved our arms frm side to side! hahahaahah... then when gurmit said voting could start, she turned to me and asked me where my hp was... i laughed and told her that i wasn't voting... damn cute lah she, i almost died laughing inside...

while sly was singing an jing, i was wondering wat hanee was thinking, prob reminiscing abt the jay concert... hahahah, how can sly even dare to sing the same song in the same place as our dear beloved jay?? no one can compare to JAY! lol...

then there was one part when something hit ken lim while he was commenting on sly's performance... it wasn't some deranged fan, it was OLI! hahahahah... but it was by accident de... she even stood up and did a sorry gesture, but like no one saw her liddat, poor gal... later during the interval then she went to apologise to ken... and i LOVED dick lee's rendition of "idol paradise"! hahahaha.. it was so funny!

i'm really gonna miss sg idol now that it's ended... i heard world idol was cancelled, so that means we won't get to see taufik perform this yr... but i'm definitely gonna buy his (and sly's!) album when it comes out... and if an sg idol album comes out, i'm gonna get that too... hahaahah...
