I forgot to post some stuff that I saw yesterday, so I'll continue here. Haha...

I was at Jurong East MRT station waiting for Xiaomei when I saw all these kids doing their flag day. Actually, I already saw them at Tampines MRT station when I was there w/ Tat and the others, but they didn't bug me as much as the ones at Jurong East.

No, they didn't really outright ask me for donations, which I would have refused anyway. And I have nothing against those poor little buggers who have to spend their Saturdays asking strangers to donate to a cause that I expect they know nothing about anyway. But sometimes, I really wonder whether they actually use their brains when they ask people for donations. Ok, I know it's a really boring thing to do when doing Flag Day. FYI, I have never done flag day in my whole entire life. I thank God that I've been spared from this misery. I always had alot of CIP hours because of choir. *gloats*

But to get back to my point. Those Flag Day people were standing at the bottom of the escalator coming down from the MRT station, trying to get people to donate to them. I understand their intention to get as many people as they can, and where's the best place to stand but the exit of an MRT station? Think of all the potential donaters (I have no other word for this category of people) they can get!

But it's so dumb to stand there. I mean, you're already blocking the escalator so people have a hard time trying to get out. And the escalator moves, so people can't really stop there to say, "Excuse me, but you're blocking my way and causing potential danger to the innocents behind me."

Very stupid leh, don't you think? Like if people stop to donate to them, then everyone behind can't get out, and the whole escalator will be blocked up and everyone will fall like dominoes. Then you'll see the headline on tomorrow's newspaper:

All because of a bunch of Flag Day people who were too dim to shift place. While I walked past one of them (who happened to hold her donation thingy up to me), it was all I could do not to burst out laughing in her face. Hahaha...

AND THEN! At Snow City! While we were trying to cram our bags into the locker, this staff came over.

Staff: Kids! Don't put your bags into the lockers first! Come get your jackets first! Come, follow me! *goes off happily towards the racks*
All of us: *stands there in silence* ...
Me: *finally breaks the silence* Did she... did she just call us kids?

Must be all Sally and Diana's fault lah! They're so short, that's why Ash, Xiaomei and me are now kids by association. T_T

By the way, I have a social life!



But they still said "Not nerdy, but then again maybe not all that cool either." *sigh* I realised that a long time ago. T_T
