Orientation was better this time round, only because I wasn't involved in it. Hahaha...

I asked Shawn to come down for the orientation, 'cos Nick crashed yesterday's orientation. But I ended up late, as usual. Woke up at like 9.30am, and Shawn probably wanted to kill me, 'cos he'd been in school since 7.30am, the time I told him to come at. He had to sleep in the library until I reached school. Haha, like a homeless beggar. =P

He got to tag with me and Owen until 11am, and he got a freshie shirt too! The shirts this time round are so much better than last year's man. They're made of jersey material, so they're quite cooling. And at least they won't lose shape like last year's. =.= I personally like the SL shirts more than the freshies', but Shawn thinks otherwise. Lol...

It was definitely much more fun when I switched to being an SU official! At first, Linggie, Alan, Jodin, James and I were assigned to be game marshalls, but we fell out, and Linggie and I went back to the track and cheered with the other officials for the different schools.

Aiyah, say cheer for the different schools, machiam like we only cheering for Biz School sia! 'Cos almost all the SU officials are from Business! I've never been so proud of Business before. Hahaha... Even though we sometimes cheered for the other school, we would 不由自主地飘回 Biz School's side. We found that quite funny, somehow, kept laughing about it. But we still took pity on the quieter schools, ok! AS was quite poor thing, and we cheered them on, then it was on to IT school. HEHE, can see someone. Everytime we went over there, we would sing the "Shex Bomb" song. Shex bomb! =P No need to cheer for Engine lah, they were so loud and in their own world, they didn't need us man. There was freeflow Milo too! Yum, my favourite drink man. We were cheering for Milo too. Lol...

I loved Design's "Wusak" cheer! Design was beside Biz, and they were kinda throwing cheers (more like jeers =.=) back and forth at each other. Design was really nuts, led by Kelvin. They were really onz man, I felt quite proud of them. Hahaha... Even though I'm from Business. How I wished Business was as onz as them! Lol...

There was once when Design followed the beat of a song PC was playing and they were shouting "Design, whoo!" and Business kept substituting "whoo" for "sucks" and shouted "Sucks!" everytime Design shouted "Whoo!" Damn funny lah. Lol...

Since the SU officials were in a crazy mood, we started thinking of jeers for every single school.

Business: Go count numbers! *clap x 4*
AS: Go wash test tube! *clap x 4*
IT: Go home surf porn! *clap x 4* [Lol, I think this is the funniest!]
Design: Go home paint wall! *clap x 4*
Engine: Go play Lego! *clap x 4*

We were so high profile that I think there was too much publicity for SU. But we were having too much fun at that time to care. I don't think I've ever had that much fun with my dear MMC and SU peeps before. The only person that dampened things was AA. Urgh, now she assumes she's part of SU lah? =.=

Linggie and I patched up with Jodin, Alan and James later. The whole school shifted to Bedok Reservoir to watch the Regatta. Business totally rocked with our cheerleaders. The funniest school was Engine. They were totally in their own world and kept cheering even though other school's cheerleaders were on stage. Once, we even shouted "Engine! Wake up lah!" but they couldn't be bothered. Lol... Then when their own cheerleaders went onstage, we thought they'd finally shut up. But once the cheerleaders started, all of us started laughing. 'Cos Engine waited 5 seconds before launching into their own cheers again. Damn funny lah! Your own cheerleaders onstage and you all are still in your own world!

Of 'cos, Business won the war! I heard it was the first time in years Business had won the overall. Cheers to Business!

The SU officials went onstage and did our own cheer medley. It was the funniest thing ever man, a mix of all the empire cheers in FOC. Lol... And we stayed onstage for the school song. The most fun we ever had lah. =D Even though we didn't win any of the races, but we still support SU wholeheartedly. =)

We returned to Business School for debrief and it was quite sad. I tried to control my tears and gave all my HTM friends a big hug. They probably didn't know how emotional I was feeling at that time. Lol...

It was Jam 'N' Hop later. The 1st 1 and a half hour was total crap, with all the rock bands that couldn't sing in tune. MMC was at the back shouting "Go home!" Lol... Then we started doing weird dance steps to while our time away. Once, we all stood in a row and started nodding in a daze. Fuad stood in the front and pretended to conduct us. I think the people who saw us must've been very puzzled. Lol...

The only highlight was probably getting to see Dharni beatbox and the breakers up close. Haha... We kinda abused our authority as SU officials, made our way to the front of the stage and formed a human barricade, but we were actually enjoying ourselves immensely. Muahaha... But he isn't that goodlooking up close. Bah, spoiled my impression of him. The breakers were kinda cool, but abit dangerous. Linggie and I almost got hit by one of them, 'cos his leg shot out towards our faces.

The music was quite bad too. The Sikh DJ from PC is the best! The DJ for the Jam 'N' Hop was from outside, and I heard they'd paid $20 000 for him. But he was total crap! Ok, the music wasn't that bad, but the way they connected (I can't find any other word for that) the music was terrible. Didn't really enjoy myself that much lah.

We finished off with the usual songs (mass dance, school song, chickie dance) and did our SU cheer medley again! Lol... And I still find the "Oei li eh ka cng ah, oei!" damn funny, although abit mean to the freshies. =P We returned to the lounge, and I shared cab home with Alwyn, since there were no more buses left.
