Went to see the Vatican Treasures at the Asian Civilisations Museum with Alvin. Quite nice lah, but not very impressive. Lol... Maybe I expected cooler stuff than just paintings from that century? I wanted more of the original relics of stuff. Like maybe part of John the Baptist's robe? Something like that. The real stuff. But I did get to see some lah. There were a few relics of the True Cross and some fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, I think. I can't remember.

That idiot wanted to take pics while we were walking from Esplanade, and he kept making me pose there for him to take. Crazy! I felt like some tourist lah! Hahaha... Couldn't stop laughing, so he couldn't take properly, and his camera was really wonky too, so the whole thing was damn funny. Lol... Wished I brought my cam though. =(

Then we went to watch War of the Worlds, went to Shaw House Dome to visit Karen (since Daddy wasn't there that day), then watched Fantastic Four after that. Great movies man, both of them. =)

09/07/05 (Saturday)

The day of the Energy concert! I can't remember what I did in the morning, my memory's so bad. Only remember that we were almost late for the concert, 'cos we met at City Hall and most of the roads there were blocked off. Walked around for half an hour looking for a bus stop where we could take 16, but... DON'T HAVE!!!

So in the end we had to go to Bugis (imagine walking from City Hall to Bugis!!!! Eh wait, actually not very far hor? =.=) to catch a cab. Then got traffic jam, 'cos we were trying to outwalk the road block.

This is silly, but the road block was actually moving with us as we walked! I'm serious. Walk where also got road block. Walk to Bugis and they were about to block off that damn road outside Shaw. Dammit.

Went to Hotel Intercontinental to get a cab but all the cabs that came in were either full or went off without letting us get in. Weird buggers, those drivers. Finally, I went out to the road and managed to get a cab. I asked the driver to wait while I called Tanleen they all to come out, but he suddenly started yelling that he couldn't and drove into the hotel instead. =.= So that means I went out for nothing.

Then when the others got in, I popped a french fry in my mouth and he suddenly said "不可以在车上吃!" I got a shock and quickly put my hand back down and went "Orh." and exchanged a look with the others. Bloody bad mood man, this uncle.

And I dunno is it our luck or what, but everytime we go to an Eg concert, the taxi drivers never fail to cheat us of our money. And everytime we ask the girls in the other cab how much they spent on the cab fare, they always pay cheaper than us. The last time even half of our fare!

So this time also the same thing, summore the price jacked up 'cos...

peak period + road blocks (EVERYWHERE) + crazy driver who wants to get back at us by going one big round = $9.60 cab fare

One time we stopped beside this car filled with Sikhs and we started laughing, 'cos it reminded us of the Jay and Babu Seng mix-up. Then Jin suddenly said "Uncle! Don't drive so fast!" and I thought she was referring to our cab driver, so I turned and looked at him. He'd heard her and immediately shifted gears with such force that I thought the stick was going to come out. Then Jin continued talking and I realised she was talking about the Sikh driver. Lol... Our cabbie is MAD!!!

Jenny's cabfare was only $7+. Bah! Anyway, saw Ting-o when we were joining the queue outside Premier Entrance. Kinda miss her, Linzi and Lipei (my Kindergarten classmate!! What a small world!). And then, I found out that she was sitting in the row directly in front of me. Wheee...

But we were quite suay, 'cos Traffic Light sitting behind us. Urgh... Oh yeah, I saw En and Pea sitting 2 rows behind me, and Connie saw me, but I didn't see her, and I saw Mango, but she couldn't see me. Hahaha... Celebs sitting in the 1st 2 rows were some of the 绝对 Superstar people (I only recognised one from the ONE episode that I watched), David Gan and his very good-looking (but gay?) friend, and Sly. Quite funny to see Shuwei spotting David Gan later and go "Eh? Day-wee?" WAHAHAHA... Couldn't stop laughing.

The concert was full of laughter and tears, but I still enjoyed myself alot. Shuwei in his skirt made me laugh like crazy after I'd cried through 1 1/2 songs. Lol...

Waited more than 4hrs outside for them to come out. The people who joined us this time in the maxi were a fun bunch man. We never stopped crapping and laughing, and Uncle Alex even took us one round around the stadium to trick the other maxis. Lol... Quite funny to see us heading a long line of maxis, and on the way back, still see more following that line. HAHAHA...

Halfway to the carpark, we were even asking Uncle Alex why he chiong so fast for what. And he said "Aiyah, sian mah. Then nothing to do also, so drive around lor. Not my fault they follow." Wahaha... Damn cheeky bastard lah, he.

When they finally came out, we only managed to see Milk (from a distance, 'cos of all those irritating maxis blocking our way) leaning on the back of their bus watching all of us. Then when the chase started, he disappeared from view, and only his brother did all the waving. Which was quite funny actually. And since we were so bored, we decided to do stupid stuff too, like waving to Eg's uncle. The funny part was when he laughed and waved back and all of us screamed like he was from Eg liddat. WAHAHAHA...

Only got to hold on to Shuwei's hand when they came out of their bus at Goodwood. Quite funny though. They were all dead drunk on the bus, and the first woman who came out was super crazy. The door opened and she appeared there. She stood there for 3 seconds taking everyone in and I think to gather her senses and think of what to say ("Should I tell them to go away? Or should I just push through them? Ooh, everyone's looking kinda blurry now...")

So in the end she shouted in a zao-sia voice "Move away!" and everyone stared at her in shock. Hahaha... No one expected a mad woman to come out of Eg's bus I think. Milk came out next, but he was frowning so much, and yet still seh seh one. Didn't get to see much of him and KD, 'cos of this stupid girl's huge paper bag held up so high that it blocked my view. I kept pushing it aside, but she kept pushing it back into my view, just to get it to one of Eg. Irritating man! Felt like tearing it up.

Ahdi came out next, but no one dared to touch him much, think they scared of his injury. Then last was Shuwei and the funniest too. He was super seh and stood there for so long, letting everyone molest him. Debbie said she passed him a letter but he grabbed her hand instead and pulled her along with him. She was so scared man. Hahaha...

Stayed over at Jin's house that day. Super tired by the time we reached her house man. Summore Uncle Alex not in good mood + we had to figure out a way to get everyone home safe.

Overslept today, so didn't get to go to airport to see Eg off. GRRRR...

Had studio rehearsals with my group in the morning. I thought it was quite good, though the time passed really fast. The walkies had a bit of a problem, so the group before us had alot of their time wasted. Then stupid Shiny didn't wanna give them extra time. Mean asshole.

I think I'm a good FM! ^^

My week started to get worse from here. My mom moved to my aunt's house around Sunday night, and I dunno, the house seemed more peaceful without her around. All the angst is always coming from her anyway. But my dad's having financial problems, so I decided to get a new job. Kegan agreed to take me to Brewerkz on Thursday for the job interview. Doesn't matter, I couldn't go for my course clique's outing anyway, no $$$ already.

Feel so pissed off that my whole life revolves around money. I work like shit to support myself, my dad's always so moody bcos he's always in debt, and bcos my mom's always picking on him about money. I don't understand. She doesn't wanna give him money, but she doesn't pay the bills, and only pays for my brother's tuition fees, plus she's always buying stuff that's really rubbish. I'm not talking display items here. I'm talking a water distiller that makes the water taste funny and an exercise machine that apparently helps you do sit-ups but your feet move around on the machine, so how does that help you?

So now my mom's moved out, and when I was at work, my brother msg-ed me to tell me that my mom wants to move out of my aunt's house to somewhere else. Where, I dunno, just out of my aunt's house, just because my aunt is not on her side. Hello, anyone with any sense in their brain won't be on her side! She can go to everyone she knows, but as long as they can think straight, they'll know she's in the wrong!

She even lied to my uncle about moving out, that her friend had gotten into an accident with a lorry and she needed to stay at the hospital and take care of her friend. What the hell? I dunno what kind of person she's turned into, man. The worse thing is, she's a Christian, and she's behaving like this? I may not be the perfect Christian, but at least I know what's right and wrong. She goes to church every week, but I dunno what values stay in her mind. My dad said before that looking at the example she sets of a Christian, it's no wonder he doesn't wanna be a Christian. I think it's true. I want my dad to be a Christian, but it's not going to work if she continues behaving like this.

That's why I couldn't get to the SU chalet earlier. I spent like an hour on 61 getting to my aunt's house. If I knew that damn bus goes a whole round, I wouldn't have taken it. In the end my brother told me that he's giving up and he's going home, so I went home instead. I reached home earlier than him and my aunt called to say she was sending my mom home. So everything's fine now, for the time being.

I have become very distanced from family matters now. There's nothing I can do to change things, and I dunno what to say to my parents at all. I came home the day my mom left home, and when I saw my dad, I didn't know what to say. He looked so sad (obviously not bcos my mom left home. He couldn't be happier, I bet) that his life was like this, and I wanted so much to make him feel better, but I didn't know what to say. And as I sat in my room talking to my brother behind the closed door, I felt so guilty that he'd think we weren't on his side. I wanted him to know that I was on his side, but I just didn't know how to show it. He doesn't speak much, and nobody knows what he's thinking.

Reached the chalet at 10+ I think. Watched TV with Mervin and Pammie before Jodin called me outside to go Bedok Jetty. He brought his beautiful Oscar along, so cute! Got to know Chantel, Gayna, and Janet, although I know Gayna and Janet from SL already. Chantel very cute! And the 3 girls were wearing PJs, so funny, even on the MRT! Lol... People were staring at them, they said. Hahaha...

Mel and Weisheng were already at the jetty waiting for us. Fishing's a very boring thing. The girls started entertaining themselves by dancing to their songs. Damn funny man! Especially Alan and his "One Small Umbrella" song. LOL!!! He has lots of weird songs on his shuffle man. Some Ah Pu Nehneh song which is damn funny when you see him sing along to it, and another song which has this woman singing about how her bf shot her or something.

But I was really bored there. I couldn't fit in with the girls, 'cos I only know Mel the best out of all of them, but they're one clique, so you know. Quite happy when Pammie and Mervin finally turned up. We slacked down there until 4am and really cannot take it liao then walk back to the chalet and sleep.

P.S. I like Weisheng's hammock alot. I think everyone does. ^^

13/07/05 (Wednesday)

All our plans were cancelled, and we just spent the whole day slacking away. Kazumi, Adeline, Ah Pat, Clifton, Weisheng, Jasper, Danial, Kenneth and Raza came at night and joined the bbq. Basically quite boring lah. I miss Kazumi though. Haiz.

Jasper got drunk from the booze and puked alot in the middle of the night. Was I the only one who was not disgusted with him? As long as I can't smell anything, I'm fine with being in the same room as him while he pukes his guts out. =)

We played this game that was super taxing on the bladder. Mervin taught it to us. We had to play it with a whole deck of cards. Drank so much water I think I was going to puke. But poor Mao Mao had to drink the most. She looked so white drinking all that water that I thought she was going to puke water on us. Lol...

Then later Alvin, Khai and Da Pao joined us around 12+, too bad there wasn't enough food for them. Hee... =D I thought there was enough, 'cos there were piles of food there. But it wasn't the nice food in piles. Lol...

14/07/05 (Thursday)

Went home to sleep for awhile and went to meet Kegan at Brewerkz in the afternoon. Sat there talking about crappy stuff until Rae and Nick came.

For the first time, I'm actually having a decent conversation with Nick! It isn't too bad actually. When he gets irritating, I just keep quiet and pretend I didn't hear what he said, or let someone else answer his seriously lame comments. Lol... I had fun! Even though I didn't touch the booze. I don't like the taste of alcohol anyway. Super tastes like medicine. Yucks.

Tell me, how can anyone drink in the middle of the day? It's just not right! But at least it was so dim inside that it felt like it was already night time.

Filled out the job recruitment form that Joel, Rae's friend, got for me, but they haven't contacted me for an interview yet, so I most probably didn't get the job lah. Looks tough anyway. The servers have to carry HEE-YUGE trays fine-dining style. Think I'd break every single glass and plate they've got over there. Hehehe...

Went to town to meet Alvin from there and walked around for awhile. He just had Project Pilot filming, too bad couldn't see him film. =( But it was nice to hang out with him, even for such a short time.
