12/09/05 (Yesterday)

Started work at Simon Tong & Tung. They're an interior design firm whose office space is really small, but apparently takes on huge projects. Lol... The boss speaks in a Hongky accent, but I don't believe he's really Hongky. He speaks Cantonese alot, though my colleague Kui Hwa says he doesn't like Chinese songs, he prefers English songs. Hahaha... What an irony.

Kui Hwa and Raymond are middle-aged and are really nice and helpful people. We chat alot when the boss isn't around. Hahaha... And they're funny too. When they found out I was from Mass Comm, they kept encouraging me to join the competition that Channel U is holding now, some host thingy.

SIAO LAH!

才不要. Bleah.

Then the girl who hired me, Cynthia, she's something like a secretary to the boss. She came in late, 'cos she had exams. I think she's from uni. Kui Hwa and Raymond say she's 28. She's quite nice too, helpful.

Whee! I like my colleagues! Erm, except for my boss, who kinda freaks me out.

But I had nothing to do the whole day!! Just answered a few calls, helped the boss make a few calls, help him make coffee and tea (don't understand why can't he do it himself =.=), and type one letter. That's all. So boring!

For the rest of my time, I sit there staring into space, waiting for them to give me something to do. I can't even read my book, 'cos the boss is around. Only when he isn't around then I can read when I have nothing to do.

I wore my mom's shoes that day. They gave me a blister. Again. Then I found out I could actually wear normal shoes, like my worn Converse ones. T_T Cynthia told Cheryl I could wear casual, but Cheryl mistook it for SMART CASUAL. *sigh* Unwanted pain. T_T

Met my darling at Shaw House after work. Haven't seen him in a long time! Really miss him a lot. We went to Heeren look for his Puma shoes, but he didn't get any. Decided to go to Cine to eat, but it started raining while we were waiting at the traffic light.

Lol, can you imagine me dashing to Cine in (quite short) heels??? Summore I had blisters too! *sobz* The things I've to suffer when I wear my mom's shoes. =(

It was still raining when we finished eating, so we went to catch a movie. The only one available was 'Be With Me', so we got that. Whiled away the remaining half an hour reading at Yoshinoya. Sometimes it makes me sad that we've nothing to say to each other other than the usual suaning. Nothing to say to each other until we just read? But I take the words back, 'cos once we find something to talk about, we can go on for hours. Lol...

'Be With Me' is the coolest movie I've ever seen so far. It's so touching! Don't wanna put any spoilers for you but... I so wanna!!!! So please, just a few? To placate me. =D

It was the first time I've ever been in such a quiet theatre. Nobody (the audience I mean) spoke (or should I say dared to speak) during the movie, 'cos there was so few dialogue.

The sweetest part was when the old man fed the old lady her soup in the nursing home. I wanted to go "Awwww..." How I wish that when I'm 60 years old, my old man will still feed me porridge just because he loves me. ^^

The part that twisted my heart was when the old lady was back at home but she wasn't eating and the old man wasn't feeding her too. He looked at her, but just continued eating. Why he so mean? He doesn't love her anymore? But later when the son came to visit him and told him that she was dead, I realised she was actually the ghost. So it's not that he don't love her, don't wanna feed her, it's just that he can't see her, she's not there anymore. So sad, right?

Another part that twisted my heart was when the girl committed suicide, but fell on the secuirty guard, killing him instead of herself. So sad! 'Cos he'd finally got up the guts to give the letter to Miss Ann. Haiz, I still feel sad when I think about it. T_T

And finally, the part that made me tear was when I saw the old man crying. Haiz, I can't stand it lah. I can't resist crying when I see men cry. Tsk.

There are alot of reasons for you to watch 'Be With Me', so I highly recommend for all of you to watch it. But those who fall asleep easily, please don't waste your money on it, 'cos it's such a quiet movie I'm afraid you'll nod off in boredom. Lol...

13/09/05 (Today)

I'm so drained! It's torture to sit in a tiny office for 8 and a half hours looking at the same 3 people. When I got out of work today, I suddenly wished there was someone meeting me. I wished Alvin was there to have dinner with me, or watch another movie with me. I wished I was going to meet MMC at Settler's. I just wished that I had something to look forward to.

My life's so dreary nowadays. I have no time to meet up with my friends, but I have no time for myself too. When I'm free, all I wanna do is meet up with friends whom I've not seen for some time, but at the same time, I also want time to sleep and recharge.

So I'm really sorry when I meet up with you all and seem so tired and so 没精神. I know Weiqi always says that when I go out with her (but that was really ages ago, since I haven't met up with her for a long time). But I really do miss you guys! All of you! Even the dear Ting-o whom I always never have the chance to meet up with!

P.S. I saw Seto's darling when I was out shopping with Xiaomei on Thursday last week! Hahaha... Don't get frightened when you see it. =P
