I really hate working at ST&T, even though the people are nice. I'm even getting used to the boss. He isn't that scary really. But it's the admin work that gets me down.

When I off-ed work, I was suddenly flooded with relief to be out in the fresh (ok, maybe not that fresh, what with air pollution these days) air and the bright sunlight. And I realised that I need jobs which keep me on the move, ones that involve being out in the open and being in contact with many different people.

Which is why I'm starting to really appreciate working at Dome after working at ST&T, even though I'm tired beyond belief (try waking up at 7am, working through the day to 5.30pm, then going down to Parkmall for your 6pm shift, everyday), even though sometimes the customers are real bitches and bastards, and sometimes I feel like a walking zombie. But it's so much more enjoyable than being cooped up in a tiny office all day and talking to only 3 people (who are much older than you and call you Xiao Meimei).

I was on the phone with Liping for quite long that night. Everytime I talk to her, I always feel like crying, but I feel much better after I hang up. Miss this stupong sister of mine. =(

14/09/06 (Wednesday)

I saw Daphne Khoo again! But this time, she was more casual. There wasn't much makeup on her face (or none at all? I couldn't see), and she was in a t-shirt and shorts. Looked so much like a JC student. How come she always hangs out at Orchard?? Nothing better to do meh?? I'm so sick and tired of Orchard lor. I spend my whole life in it. =.=

I just found out Mavis was in an accident. She got knocked down by a car, and was in the hospital for the whole of last week. Poor girl. But Susan Mummy's like quite pissed off with her irresponsibility, 'cos she didn't get anyone to call Dome to inform them, and she didn't turn up for her shifts. So now I dunno whether they fired her or not.

15/09/05 (Thursday)

Went back to school after work, 'cos of I-Guides meeting. Got to see the other people who were selected to be in the committee as well. Quite a few unfamiliar faces, but the rest were people I knew, and could mostly get along well with. Hock Chuan briefed us on the stuff to be expected. Think I wanna be in Programme Comm. If not, then PPR. Er, forgot what's it in full. Haha...

Went for dinner later with Chee Keen, Francis, Mervin, Charlene and Keat after the meeting. Francis and I have a joke now about our middle names. He's is Daniel and mine is Gracia. They're our imaginary friends and they're a couple. Well, not actually lah. Daniel is actually trying to woo Gracia, but she never show any response, so we'll see how they progress lah! Hahaha... Keat was so confused while we were laughing about it. Lol...

16/09/05 (Friday)

Boss's clients are really rich. One sent mooncakes today, and they were damn chio man. In a long wooden box (come to think about it, like coffin liddat, wahaha), and when you opened it, there were 4 mooncakes in individual cardboard packaging, and placed in a bed of satin cloth. How cool is that???

We celebrated the boss's birthday today. It was a surprise celebration, and it was quite funny to see us trying to keep the boss from seeing the cake. Boss went out with Raymond to see to something, so Cynthia put the cake in our tiny fridge while they were out. Then Kui Hwa, Cynthia and I were discussing how to surprise him when they suddenly came back, and we immediately shut up.

Boss saw, and he asked us what's up. Of course we said nothing lah, but he still suspected something fishy. Then he kept standing in their workstation area, to discuss stuff, and Cynthia had a hard time trying to get the cake out without him seeing it. Finally, she managed to get it out while he was on the phone with someone. She sneaked the cake to her desk, but couldn't find a lighter. I remembered seeing one in Raymond's drawer, so I sneaked it out to her, and I had to keep standing there to block the cake from the Boss's view. Lol...

At Dome later, this guy left his handphone on the table, so I returned it to the drawer. But after 2hrs, there was no phone call on his phone or ours to inquire about the missing phone. But! How do I know he's a guy? Hehe... Because...

I kinda looked at the stuff in his phone. =P

OK! I know it was bad of me to do it! But I was bored, and I was curious why he hadn't called! So I opened his inbox, and I saw something I shouldn't see.

There was this picture of a man and it said: 'This man loves you'. I didn't think much about it, thought it was just his friend joking around. Until I saw the next message, a picture of the same man without his shirt on. I felt so scandalized, but I told myself not to jump to conclusions (that he was gay, I mean).

So I continued scrolling through his inbox until I found another message from that man. And it said 'Dear, u asleep yet?' OH MY GOODNESS!! The owner of the phone was really gay! Lol... He did eventually come back to collect it, but didn't get to see how he looked like. *sigh*

17/09/05 (Saturday)

Such a relief to take a break from all those work. Went to school in the morning to help out with the mock interview in MediaBiz Studios. I was lighting person, what a boring job. In fact, it was so boring that I screwed up a couple of times, 'cos I was too engrossed in what the talents were saying that I didn't hear May Ann saying "Lights down".

And I also screwed up when Mr Mah Bow Tan came up to watch us too. Bah! May Ann repeated a second time then I realised she was calling me. Lucky no one noticed me. Phew...

I got to shake Mr Minister's hand twice! Whooo...

Went to meet Weiqi after the filming and got Ade to come along too, but she only stayed for lunch. But it's ok, at least I got to spend time with the 2 people that I haven't seen for quite some time. One who pang seh-ed me, and the other I didn't have the time to meet up with, lol.

Lunch at Century Square was crazy. We kept talking about the most hilarious stuff, like that girl who refused to lie on another girl's shoulders, 'cos she was afraid her pimples were contagious and would somehow get "transferred" to her. It's a true case! Ade's ex-classmate in secondary school. Lol...

Weiqi and I went to Bugis to shop later, but I still couldn't find anything for the wedding. Am I too picky? *shrugs* We were so shagged that we settled down at a cafe to rest. The fish and chips there weren't very nice, forced myself to finish it. Bleah. I dragged her to take neoprints later.

Was late for work in the end, but totally didn't mind. =) Love you, my darling! Finally got to go out with you! *hugz*

And I was thinking of how it really sucks to start your shift at Dome in a good mood, but your first customer is really sucky and it spoils the day for you. But luckily, I have my crazy colleagues who will put me in smiles in moments. Haha... Zhisheng who keeps calling me "Pretty Girl" and Heikel's crazy actions to the songs and our regular bitching about the customers. Lol...
