Just some random thoughts I had over the week:

1) I wanna go to the Michael Buble concert!!! Which kind soul will bring me?



2) I smile funny. How come I look sad when I smile? The corners of my mouth are turned down when I smile. What do you think? Do I look sincere when I smile? Hahaha...

3) Raymond at ST&T is starting to freak me out. He keeps looking over at me when he's working, and I just wanna poke his eyes out and say "Stare what stare! 老娘把你的眼睛刮出来啊!" WAHAHA... But really lor! Then I look up and I catch him staring at me and he'll raise his eyebrows and smile at me. Kena caught already, buay paiseh ah?

And he's always soooo nice to me, too nice already, it really freaks me out. Jumps at the opportunity to help me and stuff like that. ARGH!! I can't stand it! Everytime I'm around him, I wanna rub my arms and just shudder to myself. Lucky I won't have to see his face for the whole of next week. Phew...

4) You know what? I think that I finally found what I'm allergic to. And of all things, I have an allergy towards:

Air-conditioning!

Crazy right? At first I thought I was just afraid of cold, 'cos all along I've always been more sensitive to dips in the temperature. Those who've gone out with me know I always bring jacket if I know we're going somewhere with aircon.

Then when I started my first day of work at ST&T, it became so cold that even my jacket wasn't enough. I think I probably needed one of those fur coats that the Eskimos wear.



The skin on my hands started to turn red and blotchy, and they were kinda numb, couldn't feel anything. Then they started to itch through the numbness, passing all the way down to my feet too, so I kept scratching my hands and the top of my feet (I was wearing sandals).

So I'm allergic! ^^ Lol, I'm probably the only one who's so happy to have an allergy. Hahaha...

23/09/05 (Friday)

Worked until lunchtime only, all because of Alvin. Bad influence lah, he. Lol... 'Cos he wanted to meet for lunch, but when I found out he had 4 hours to kill before his work started, I decided to cancel the rest of the day to spend it with him.

Actually wanted to watch Brothers Grimm, but the next timing at Shaw House was at 4plus, and his work started at 6, so we went to look for a newspaper for movie timings.

We found a newspaper stand outside the Adidas shop and while the auntie was being distracted, that stupid kuku quickly went to flip through one of the copies of The New Paper and found the movie timing page.

He only scanned it for 2 seconds and he immediately flipped it close again, said "Ok, 2.35pm, let's go!" and pulled me off towards PS. This guy is an experienced trickster man. =.= I was still like "Huh??", 'cos dunno which movie he was talking about. Then he kept laughing at me, and tested me by asking "What movie are we watching?"

Brothers Grimm lah! Think I'm dumb. -.- But the queue at PS was so long, and the 2.35pm movie wasn't shown on the screen anyway. Maybe it was sold out. So we decided to get The Myth instead.

But somehow, when we were in the theatre, I kept thinking we were watching Brothers Grimm. So when the movie company's name flashed on the screen, I was thinking "Weird, why got Chinese words?" Then I decided that maybe they were considerate enough to provide translations for us bilingual Singaporeans, so I shrugged it off.

But the next company name also have Chinese words! Never mind, shrug it off again. Bilingual Singaporeans, nothing out of the ordinary. But then music started to play, and I heard a woman's voice singing in Chinese.

That was when I turned to ask Alvin, "How come they got Chinese music?", thinking that GV had somehow obtained a Chinese-dubbed version of Brothers Grimm. I know, it's lame, but that was the only explanation my befuddled brain could come up with!

Alvin started spluttering to himself, and by that time, I'd already seen the opening shot of a battlefield, then realised that we were watching The Myth. His comment after the movie? "Thank goodness I don't blog, or your 糗事 will be all over it." TSK.

That isn't the only stupong thing I did that day. I also tried to go out of the MRT through the wrong gentry, the one with the sign of the red circle and a line through it. I walked straight up to it and put my wallet on the scanner, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me over to his gentry in one fluid motion instead, saying smoothly, "That one cannot go through." and made me go through his one. I was about to protest until I saw that no-entry sign. He started am chio-ing once we were through. =.=

NOT MY FAULT LAH! T_T

Went to City Hall with him and met YY at Suntec while he went to work. She crazy one! Started doing this ninja action when she saw me, and made me do it with her. Hahaha...



We decided to go to town for our secret mission but were unable to find anything suitable. Then we finally had a perfect idea in Taka and took a long time discussing which supplies to get in the shop. The shopkeeper was quite helpful actually. =)

Then we took a long stroll (from Taka, mind you) all the way back to Padang. We saw a ghost on the way, outside Heeren! Brave YY helped me take a pic of it. I'll show it to you when I manage to upload the pics.

YY showed me the toilets in the Singapore Recreational Club. It's damn cool lah, they have hair dryers, hair spray, hair conditioner, moisturising cream, whatever, all there! Omg... I told YY I wanna join her softball club, then I can get to use the facilities. She say her coach will scold her, "Why you bring another girl like you into the team????" Hahaha...

Then it was supper with Alvin at Newton (YY went home liao), and home sweet home after that.

24/09/05 (Today)

Met the Sluicies at the MRT. Supposed to be at 12, but I was 40min late. WAHAHA... Had to treat them drinks as a result. All of us got Teh Ping except Jarm! Bleah...

We went to Settler's and played that betrayal game. Haha... 'Cos I was really hooked on that game lah. This time, I was the traitor! But I lost in no time. I think the makers designed the game for the traitor to always lose. Bah. Jarm kept having to deduct points from her sanity, and everyone including herself agreed that she was slowly going insane. HPY, on the other hand, kept adding sanity points.

The most freaky was that Ting experienced the exact same scenario that Kazumi did when we were playing that game. The mirror thing, you know, with the past and future self. *shivers* Both cards also she drew.

But it wasn't that fun this time round, not because MMC weren't there (Sluicies are equally fun to be with), but because the guys who served us weren't very good. I think the waiters the previous time I was there was better. They recommended better games and had better knowledge of the games. The ones (or one) we had this time wasn't very good, gave us the kinda games that you'll get bored of after one round, like that Jungle Snatching game and stuff. And he seemed quite blur too.

HPY quite liked him, 'cos she thought he looked like JJ. But Beak! He really doesn't look like at all, so don't start freaking out! Hahaha... The other guy who served us at first, the one who looks like Vincent, told me I look very familiar. I have never seen him in my entire life! Then he asked whether I was Gary's sister. I gave him this blank look and said, "I don't think so?" The others were laughing at me, and for the rest of the day, they kept bringing up Gary, the brother I never knew I had.

Jarm went home after we left Settlers', so we continued on to town (again!!! -.-) to take neoprints. HPY and I have concluded that she is really crazy and we will never let her decorate our neoprints ever again. If I get the chance to scan in the neoprints, you'll see what I mean. She practically dumped all the little designs all over our pictures until we could only see our faces!! And her explanation? "I like sparkly stuff."

We had dinner at Subway's, then went back to Heeren to get HPY a new pair of slippers, 'cos her blisters were killing her. YY, reminds me of you! =D Outside Cine, we saw the ghost that YY saw yesterday. We took pics of him/her too. Took lots of pics on the MRT, but rejected lots, 'cos we looked ugly. Hahaha... I love HPY and Jarm's phones lah, the digicam-lookalikes! Tsk.

HPY's mum gave me a lift home from Eunos. She still remembers me! *happy* And I was glad to find out that she just got married again last month. But they may be moving to UK though. I hope HPY doesn't plan to stay there. She promised that she won't stay there, but she'd study there. I hope she keeps her promise! I don't want another member of the Sluicies to stray off again. =(
