My aunt brought her tent to East Coast today. It was actually a reunion for her and her old friends, but it was also a reunion for me as well! But I'll get to that later. =D

So when my brother and I reached East Coast, it was raining like dunno what. Put a damper on things man. =( Mr Postman was there to help set up.

Wanna know who Mr Postman is? He's my aunt's friend. No, not one of her old friends, just a friend. A very good friend. Catch my drift? =P No, he's not her boyfriend! But I bet he wants to be. Hahaha...

A little background info on my aunt. She's quite old already, 50 years old, but she's not married yet, 'cos she's really independent, and I don't think she wants to get married. She's always the one to organise gatherings, like book chalet, bbq, stuff like that, to get the family together. She does that at least once a year. It's quite a huge effort, 'cos I have an aunt living in the U.S. as well. She told me once that she does that to keep the family together. Otherwise everyone so busy, where got time to meet up?

So anyway, recently, like 1 or 2 years back, this friend of my aunt's, the man I call Mr Postman, started turning up at those gatherings. He's a nice man, very generous, and my brother and I quite like him. =) We're always discussing whether he likes her, because he's always so sweet to her. Awwwww...

So why do we call him Mr Postman?

Er, I also dunno when we started calling him that. My brother says my aunt called him that once, but I don't believe. Why would she call him that?? But we always address him as 'Uncle' lah. We only call him Mr Postman behind his back. =P

ANYWAY. We helped to set up the tent after the rain stopped. But we'd barely gotten it up before the heavy rain started again. ARGH! My brother and I hid in the tent (it has a waterproof covering, so there's no fear of the rain coming in) while my aunt and Mr Postman went to seek shelter at Mac's there. We were nudging each other and grinning. Hahaha... Give them chance!

I mentioned earlier that the gathering was a reunion for me, right? 'Cos my aunt's old friend is Aunt Esther, whose daughter was my childhood friend. She, her brother, my brother and I would always play together when we met up. Her daughter's name is Jasmine, same as Kazumi! =P

Initially, I was quite worried that I'd have nothing to say to her, but when we met, we sort of clicked immediately. =D And later, when the 3rd (and last) old friend came, the three old girls told us that they'd been friends since they were kids, and their parents were childhood friends as well. So that makes Jasmine and I the 4th generation! Lol... We musn't break the tradition!
