warn your warmth to turn away

Stayed over at Xiaomei's house on Friday. It's been a long time since we've done that, the whole Bball Family. There was even our Ah Gong! Haha, that's Pris. =)

We had steamboat while waiting for our dear Lao Die to arrive. She's always late! We were all planning to give her black face when she reached, but she had on an even blacker face than us. Lol... But she was just tired. Hahaha...

The whole steamboat thing was damn funny. Everyone keep laughing at how I keep eating non-stop lah. What the hell. =.= But it's expected what!!! And now everyone keeps bring up "The prawns are calling out my name". Look, the words are even prawn-coloured! Hahaha... And now I can't even remember what Xiaomei said that led me to say that, but now everyone keeps laughing at what I said, instead of what she said.

Then Pris had to go off, so we walked her to the main road to get a taxi for her. Lots of taxis refused to stop for us 'cos they thought the whole group of us wanted to get on the taxi. Hahaha... Ended up we gathered in a group a distance away from her and let her flag the taxi by herself. Lol...

The others played mahjong when we went back. They were damn sick of eating, and Ash was vegetarian on a Friday (Catholic) so she couldn't eat too. So I sat by the side and read 'The Five People You Meet In Heaven' and almost fell asleep while they were playing mahjong. So after helping Xiaomei's dad keep the steamboat stuff, we decided to play Uno instead.

The cards were soooo cute!! Winnie the Pooh cards!! We were all squealing over how cute they were while we were playing it. Hahaha... Needless to say, we were all totally in love with the cards.

The first round was damn spastic lah. After playing halfway, Ashley finally brought up something that we all didn't realise. "How come don't have red and yellow colour?" That's when we realised that all the cards we had were green and blue. Lol!! Because it was a new pack of cards, Xiaomei opened only one half and didn't realise there was another half left in the box. Like Diana said, lucky none of us said "Yellow" when they put down a Wild card, otherwise the next person has to draw like siao also don't have yellow. Hahaha...

We watched 'The Longest Yard' next. I know, the movie's not out yet, how did I get to watch it? Like Alvin always says, "I have connections in high places".

Yeah right lah! Diana bought the pirated VCD (expected. *rolls eyes*) from Malaysia. The quality was so bad I almost fell asleep through it. But amazingly, I managed to catch the gist of the story. It still doesn't stop me from wanting to watch the proper movie again. So who wants to chop me for 'The Longest Yard'? =D

I think I was better than the others anyway. Xiaomei fell asleep halfway through, and I don't know about the others, I think they fell asleep too. They finally gave up and went to play Uno again. Hahaha... I think they're really in love with the cards man.

After the movie, I think it was back to steamboat again, but I was damn tired by then. I wasn't really in the mood to eat by then (all of them were like "You must be kidding!!!" when I said that -.-) and ate a little before curling up and falling asleep in my chair. They wanted to take a pic of me sleeping, say very ugly, but luckily they didn't, otherwise I won't be able to guarantee their being alive the next morning.

When they finished, Sally dragged me back to the living room where I curled up on the sofa this time and continued sleeping. But she refused to let me sleep!! She kept poking and poking me and kept asking me to wake up, saying that Diana gave her a mission to keep me awake. Finally, I said I'd scream if someone wanted to wake me up again, and I got my beauty sleep at last.

Xiaomei wants me to say that I didn't know what happened after 3am. So here we go:

'Cos I was fast asleep by then! Hahaha... We woke up at 11+ I think, 'cos Sally wanted to go back. Then Ash's dad gave us a ride to the kopitiam nearby where Xiaomei and I indulged in a roti prata breakfast. Diana almost fainted when we both said we were hungry. She (Diana lah) was still full from the steamboat. Huh! Weak lah!
