I went tanning at Sentosa with Linggie and Tat today!

We caught 3 fish and a hermit crab!

Lying in wait for the fishies...

The way he catches fish is simply hilarious. Instead of cupping the fish in your hands like what you'd expect normal people to do, he waits for them to swim close enough and then whacks the water with all his might towards the shore. The water flies, and (hopefully) the fish flies too.

But hilarious though it was, we managed to find the little ikan-bilis lookalikes flopping around on the sand (probably a little dazed as well), so it was a good way. Too bad we didn't get to catch the bigger ones. =(

SPECIAL TOPIC!!!

Our intrepid reporter, who happened to be at the scene for some harmless (which later turned out to be harmful - my skin peeled like nobody's business *sobz*) tanning, spotted 2 tan guys in their 20's with muscular bods walking along the shore in she and her friends' directions.

Seconds later, she heard a "Hello ladies!"

Er, no, they weren't saying that to Linggie and I. It was actually to these 2 girls who were in the water not far from us. They spent the next 15 minutes or so (or was it longer?) chatting them up, but Linggie and Tat thinks that the girls aren't interested in them. Lol!

I always thought that this kinda things would only happen in books and movies, but apparently it happens in real life too! Wahaha...

Anyway, I ended up looking like a lobster after the tanning session. That's what I meant by "harmful". =(
