I woke up early to go to the lounge at 8am for the ALP briefing. Shep didn't come when he promised to! He was still sleeping when I called him! @#$#^@$!... If not for him, I could've woken up later and went to school at 9am for my SIP launch instead. -.-

So I played around with the others until they started the briefing proper. Please look at disgusting Guan Peng:

Kissy kissy. *muackz* Brokeback Mountain 2.

And this is the ultimate:

Have you any idea how dirty that pane of glass is?!!

I went for my SIP briefing at 9am later, and I found out I got posted to AC Nielsen. The pay's $440, it's a 5-day week, 9am-5.30pm, and it's situated near Novena. AC Nielsen is an international company with a very good reputation, and the working hours are great. Sounds fine right?

ONLY THAT I HATE BMR!

I hate it with a vengeance man. I think Chuah Soon Soon was rubbing her hands in glee when she posted me to AC Nielsen. I didn't understand why they would still want me after looking at my BMR results, until I looked at the job description.

"Your duties include:

Assisting in training for media software, charting analysis*, drafting of software training materials, data checking, assisting in training sessions, installation of software in agencies^, handling software enquiries#, and other administrative support."

* I have no idea how to use SPSS. I was asleep when Mr Toh was teaching us.
^ Oh yeah, that makes me an IT expert?
# And I'll also get to be a telemarketer!

Andrea kept telling me that it'd look so good on my resume. AC NIELSEN. But I prefer her job, some events management thing! It looks so much more fun! =( Summore she looked at my letter and the first thing she said was, "Oh no, looks so IT-ish." Die lah.

Everyone seems damn impressed by the company I was posted to except myself. *sigh* Hope things will turn out fine.

It was April Fool's Day today, and I got married to Jodin at the ELF site later! But I got divorced 15 minutes later. You see, our rings were rubber bands from the lunch boxes, and I had a huge 'rock' on my finger. A literal rock. So I divorced Jodin, 'cos the rock and the rubber band was starting to hurt.

That's my leg and Alan's hand.

He is really mad. He got bored and started stuffing stones, leaves and sticks into my shoes, then arragning them up my leg.

It's not that easy to keep your leg so straight, ok.

When he got bored of that, he stuck a stick into my sock (say that 3 times fast!) and kept tickling my foot. -.-

I didn't really take part in the low element games, 'cos it was broing. Furthermore, I had to conduct interview and take pictures for Chinese StopPress (thanks to Ade). But I participated in the games after lunch.

Fazly's group were trying to pull him up over this very high wall and instead of grabbing his pants, they pulled his undies. WAHAHA... Selene, me, Huimin and Rachel kept hitting each other's chests. Lame. We're flat enough, and we still make ourselves flatter. LOL...

Later in the high elements, Shep, Yasin and I teamed up to be the belayers. But when it came to my turn to be the one in front, I just wasn't strong enough to pull the ropes, and had to get the help of the ELF leaders AND their advisor to come over to help me.

He was very nice about it later, though he was quite kan cheong at the start and yelled at me loudly. 'Cos it was Shep's turn up on the high elements and he was quite heavy (HAHA!), so if it wasn't for the ELF advisor and the girl from ELF who helped me, I'd've been lifted off the ground. In fact, my feet did leave the ground for 1 second as it is.

It was a damn traumatising experience. My thighs were hurting from where the straps cut in and Shep was stilll suspended in mid-air. Finally, I whispered in a small voice, "Very pain..." and the advisor stopped lecturing me and started helping me pull the rope instead.

He even called out to Shep, "When you come down, you better give all your friends here a hug! They're down here suffering because of you!" Shep was quite concerned when he reached the ground, but I was too breathless to answer him.

However, the traumatising experience was far from over. It was my turn to go up the high elements next. It seemed pretty easy from my post on the ground, but it's a whole different matter as I climbed up.

Oh, climbing was easy enough, but when I stopped halfway, thinking I'd reached the wooden plank, I was dead wrong. I was only halfway there, and it already looked damn high from where I was. That was when it hit me that I'd be damn high up by the time I reached the wooden plank.

I couldn't even back out, 'cos when I yelled that it was so high up, stupid Yasin yelled back, "I'm not gonna let you come down, so you better keep on climbing!" Then I had no choice but to carry on climbing up. =(

When I finally reached the wooden plank, I think I clung onto the pillar for a few minutes. They kept shouting encouraging stuff to me, but I just couldn't move forward. I really wanted to cry by then, my legs were shaking so badly and my hands were sweating like nobody's business. And I don't even have sweaty palms!

The ELF leader was right. The view from up there was great, but I just couldn't appreciate it when my legs felt like jelly. After what seemed like ages, I finally let go of the pillar and started walking along the plank. It turned out to be ok at first, but close to the middle, I started to lose my balance and I stopped.

They started cheering me on again, not knowing that I'd stopped not because I'd chickened out again, but because I was afraid I'd lose my balance. Then suddenly, I heard someone shout "Stupong 加油!" I looked down and saw my darling Wei Qi looking up at me and cheering me on. Then Ah Tan also shouted some encouragements, and I felt much better. =)

I managed to finish the whole thing without falling off! *beams* My only disappointment is that he didn't see me do it, so I don't know if he'd be proud of me or not. I'd've given anything to have him be the one cheer me on like Wei Qi did. *sigh*

Pics!

I have no idea what to say about this picture. *gulp*

These people only sit there and laugh at us, so slack. Look at the one on the extreme right. Still can sleep!!
