Phew, Orientation Week Zero's finally over! And contrary to last year, I totally loved my SL class! How I wish I'll get to see them over the next few months... =( Unfortunately, I'll be starting my (long-delayed!) SIP on the 2nd of May.

Anyway, I was a little apprehensive on the first day. I was paired up with an SL that I was unfamiliar with, but whom I warmed up to almost immediately (hitting each other's chests and foreheads before the day even got under way). She's none other than.... Felicia!

Haikel and Doggie are behind us.

When the freshies started trickling in, all the other classes had at least half, but mine only had 3!!! I was so disappointed, but I tried to talk to them anyway. It's hard to revert back to GL mode after being in the background for so long.

Biz School had something new this year for orientation. We had 2 mascots!

One's my ex-hubby turned hubby again...

...And the other's my brother!

I was super shocked when I saw them wearing the mascot costumes. But they pulled the whole thing off well anyway, so 3 cheers to them. =)

The rest of my class arrived soon enough. I lost my voice very soon, trying to make myself heard above the whole din. But at least I got to know their names and everything, PLUS they cheered louder than the other CMM classes! =P

I know everyone says that CMM is CMI in cheering, and all of us CMM SLs agree too. Haikel and I were super prepared for the horrendous response we received when we shouted "CMM oei!"

"..............................."

I didn't fall on the floor, foaming at the mouth, and twitching uncontrollably. 'Cos I was prepared! Hahaha... Although deep inside, I wanted to. =P I was hoping that this year's batch would be different, but I was wrong. =(

However, my efforts to get to know my SL class weren't in vain. I was alone for awhile during ice-breaking, 'cos Felicia disappeared to have breakfast. Thank goodness I managed to make the boring name game fun.

Er, I hope. They seemed like they had fun. Played Ti Tu Tiu with them too, and a different version of the name game (names & actions), something I remembered from Arts App CDS waaaay back in 1.1. Seems a long time ago now. But we were laughing like crazy. I was trying my darnedest to be as hyper as can be, and you know what? I think I did it!

It was damn tiring though. I had to be 10 times as hyper as I usually am. That's why I almost fell asleep during the Regatta briefing later. I know Yee Ping and Lindee fell asleep! =P I couldn't, 'cos I was right in front of Terence, the SAA advisor. Don't know how Lindee dare to sleep so 光明正大-ly. LOL...

When I went back to the Sports Complex later, I found a whole new CMM! They were actually cheering! And I was especially proud of them when 'Go Temasek Go' was played and they signed the whole song, even though 3/4 of the whole Biz School weren't. I noticed the air above BSG was significantly void of fists punching in the air.

I have found my love for CMM again. =)

I couldn't join the SLs the next day, 'cos I was an SU official. =( But I had renewed faith in my efforts to be a leader when I went to check on my class for a few minutes. All of them were saying that I pangseh-ed them!

And the whole class actually returned, with 2 more added! I know those 2 left on the first day after registration because they were bored. I'm so touched they came back. =) Only one didn't return, and I don't care whether he comes back anyway. He wasn't very cooperative, so act cool, so ugly summore. HEHE... =P

I was a dunno-what for the Olympiad. Seriously, I don't even know what my role is. Sarah and I were to direct the different teams to their respective positions in the games, that's all. It was fun, though! =) Catherine, our SAA advisor, kept mixing the both of us up. LOL... Someone (I forgot who) even said I looked like her. -.-"

I also saw Tattie's brother again! He's in HTM too. They have the same seh and same face shape. Even the way he blows his hair is like Tattie. But I think he did that purposely for our sake, 'cos all of us were like pointing him out. WAHAHAHA...

IT School was surprisingly good during the games, but their cheering was half-hearted as usual. Or maybe they were just situated too far away from the grandstand? Nah. I still think they can't be bothered. They were right in the middle last year, but they still sucked at being rah-rah.

There were quite a few injured parties after the Olympiad:

This is an imitation of a certain person in Programme. I don't think I need to give a name. =P

"Monday's my bir---ACK! Heart attack!!"

The Chao Ah Beng is paralysed from the waist up. WAHAHAHA...

KC just looks like he's sitting there. -.-"

I know we're not supposed to play with it, but the wheelchair in the Sports Complex storeroom is just too fun! =P

At the Regatta, I got a chance to take part in the Dragon Boat race! Even though we didn't win, I still had loadsa fun. =) Our boat called ourselves the Chapalang Gang, 'cos we were really chapalang. Got Business, got SU, got ELF... LOL! The grass at the dock was damn painful, though. All the thorns from the mimosa plants.

Zumi performed in the Salvo drumming. Damn nice! She looked damn xat man. Me and Linda were rapt with attention. =) Business won the Regatta, but too bad we didn't win the Best Cheer. Oh well, better luck next year.

It was Jam 'N' Hop after that. Fantastic light show, thanks to Eng Meng. It was really damn beautiful and professional. =) There was also a mass orgy:

Presenting Male Model No. 1!

Poor Alvin, his shirt kena taken off in a surprise ambush. LOL...

Cheers to the 2 people who tried to buckle my legs the whole night. =) I'll miss you, Yasin and Jimmy!

Cabbed home with Kenneth after the whole thing.
